Information Systems Security Engineers - Opportunity to upgrade your clearance to Full Scope Polygraph!
We have the opportunity for an Information Systems Security Engineer/Tester to join one of the Washington, DC area’s rising stars and to upgrade their clearance to Full Scope Polygraph.
Our Columbia, Maryland based Engineering and IT Professional Services company, has been selected to Washington Technology Fast 50 list of fastest growing companies in the government sector and on INC's 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in America. The Information Systems Security Engineer/Tester will be a key member of the Security Team responsible for performing security testing and evaluation to ensure the developed product is validated against all security requirements in compliance with DCID 6/3 and NISCAP.
Specifically this person would be responsible for all phases of the test
cycle including: analyzing requirements, developing test cases and
procedures, creating test and integration plans, executing test cases,
supporting test bed configuration and design validation, attending
technical security assessment review meetings with architecture group,
development, and test teams, working closely with the architecture group
and development team to ensure implementation of the security
requirements, assist in researching, installing, configuring, upgrading,
and implementing COTS applications, performing testing (to include
functional and regression) in a team environment and documenting
results.
In addition, the security engineer/tester will assist in developing
Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) security documentation, help to
identify vulnerabilities, perform vulnerability assessments, penetration
testing, fulfill routine procedures, and perform security administration
tasks and assigned technical information security functions to ensure
all applicable program requirements are met.
To qualify the successful candidates must possess strong
analytical/troubleshooting skills, ability to prioritize and work within
a multitasking environment, strong written and verbal communication
skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and
knowledge of DCID 6/3, Protecting Sensitive Compartmented Information
within Information Systems, requirements. Minimum six years of
Information System security-related engineering experience with a strong
background in certification and accreditation. Certified Information
Systems Security Professional (CISSP) desirable.
Candidates must be eligible to be cleared to the TS/SCI with CI Polygraph. If you have an active Top Secret/SCI our client is willng to upgrade your clearance to a Full Scope Polygraph.
