Software Engineer – Quantico, Virginia! 

 

Currently have the opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a select team which  provides support services to successfully perform the tasks that allow the Defense Intelligence Agency's to offer advanced in-residence and distance/distributed learning, multimedia production services, instructional systems design, accreditation, course and student evaluation, and continuous training process improvement. This includes support to the classroom, web and computer-based learning, database development and maintenance, print shop, research, and film/sound studio, as well as instructional systems and graphic design. Training topics may include, but not be limited to counterintelligence (CI) surveillance, investigations, operations, force protection, and analysis, as well as various technology-oriented and country-specific topics. The Agency’s goal is to provide the most relative and up-to-date CI training to DOD, the military services, and other national security agencies.

 

The successful candidate will manage the learning management system and provide administrative support to resolve issues, which include: resetting passwords, granting approvals to users' enrollment requests, assisting users denied access to the virtual training academy, and installing the appropriate system-level patches.

 

bullet The candidate will be tasked with programming web and computer based training products, developing databases, as well as updating and maintaining the JCITA website.
bullet Serve as liaison between the client and third party vendors by attending meetings and discussing the client's current goals, objectives, and desired modifications to the virtual academy.
bullet Prepare and submit the appropriate reports documenting the virtual training academy's course usage for SCORM 2004 and total users.
bullet Perform trusted downloads of information as needed.
bullet Scan files and conduct cross-domain transfers between SIPRnet and NIPRnet and vice versa.
bullet Develop value added tools by programming solutions for special projects.
bullet Assist the production center in duplicating CDs for Agency staff.

 

Position requires a B.S. Degree, 2 to 5+ years of professional experience and an Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance. 

 

Position is in Quantico, Virginia.
