We currently have immediate opportunities for Mid Level & Senior Software Engineers to join one of the premier providers of leading-edge professional software and systems engineering services for Government intelligence agencies.

The Columbia, Maryland based company, selected as one of the areas “Future 50” companies, is currently seeking the following software professionals:

Senior Software Engineers

Experienced software engineers (JAVA and C++ Developers) to provide software design and implementation. Candidates will be part of a dynamic team which is building/advancing a current software infrastructure/framework. Duties will also include assisting in the architecture and design process; integrating application-wide software components as they become available; and utilizing configuration management techniques to build, test, and deploy the software. Ideal candidates will have experience in modern software methodologies (e.g. Scrum, RUP) and philosophies, with specific emphasis on object-oriented design and development.

To qualify candidates must have:

	BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
	10-15 years hands on software development experience
	Strong development skills in Java, and/or J2EE, C++ applications
	Understanding of object-oriented software architecture and design patterns
	Programming language experience
	Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

Desired skills include:

	Applicable recognized certifications (e.g. Java, Linux, Microsoft)
	Experience developing in the UNIX environment
	Experience with distributed, component based, client server architectures
	Knowledge of Web Technologies to include JSP, Web Services,
	SOAP and frameworks
	Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Perl, Groovy, etc.
	Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
	Algorithm development and optimization
	Demonstrated technical writing skills in support of software development
	Knowledge/experience with Oracle & SQL is a strong plus

Software Engineers

Experienced software engineers (JAVA and C++ developers) to work as part of a team to provide software design and implementation. Candidates will perform software engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, documentation, and problem diagnosis/resolution. Ideal candidates will have experience in modern software methodologies and philosophies (e.g. Scrum, RUP), with specific emphasis on object-oriented design and development. Candidate must be capable of working well with a team of software engineers and test specialists, and be motivated to lead/contribute to the design and development of innovative, comprehensive solutions.

To qualify candidates must have:

	BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
	2-10 years hands on software development experience
	Strong development skills in Java, and/or J2EE, C++ applications
	Understanding of object-oriented software architecture and design patterns
	Programming language experience
	Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

Desired skills include:

	Experience with National Security and/or Intelligence Community
	Applicable recognized certifications (e.g. Java, Linux, Microsoft)
	Knowledge of Web Technologies to include JSP, Web Services, SOAP and frameworks
	Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Perl, Groovy, etc.
	Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
	Experience with distributed, component based, client server architectures
