SharePoint Developers - Work in Arlington, Virginia! 
 

We have been retained to find a SharePoint Developer for our Arlington, Virginia based client company a leading 

provider of engineering, science and advanced technology solutions for the defense, security, intelligence and manufacturing industries. Our client is committed to providing innovative solutions to its Federal Government customers. 
 
The successful candidate's duties are as follows:

 

  • Responsible for Servers in SharePoint farm (S096,S099, and s074) Including set-up and configuration of SharePoint Services on Servers, maintenance of Web Front End Servers, Indexing Servers, and some aspects of maintaining Database servers.  
  • Creation and maintenance of Sites and Site Collections, as well as all associated databases and services, such as Shared Service Providers, and Extended Authentication providers if needed. 
  • Set-up and maintenance of Outgoing and Incoming e-mail services 
  • Qualification, Installation and Maintenance of any Plug-in, Feature, Web Part, Template or Solution, including 3rd party software or applications. 
  • Responsible for back-up and recovery practices, and maintaining integrity and reliability of access to information. (Interface with Program IT team)
  • Responsible for set-up and configuration of Excel Services and InfoPath services (If available). 
  • Responsible for establishing and/or maintaining end user access policy and permissions. 
  • This may also include the ability to delegate permissions authority to other users, as deemed appropriate. 
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining search services, including defining search scopes. 
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining user profile properties, including “MySites” functionality. 
  • Responsible for coordinating and implementing best use practices, and communicating with Program management best use scenarios. 
  • SharePoint Developer (Collaboration Solutions designer)
  • Responsible for design, creation and implementation of custom web parts, .NET user controls, custom Master Pages, custom Layouts, custom Event Handlers, features, solutions, and templates to be used in a SharePoint environment. 
  • Responsible for integrating non-SharePoint related services into SharePoint applications as needed. (Program Web sites etc..)
  • Demonstrates a proficiency in any of the following; XML, CAML,  XSLT, HTML, DHTML, ASP.NET, C#, ASP, JavaScript, style sheet/CSS 
  • Responsible for working with department and competency leads for creation of Workflow automation within program.
 

To qualify, candidates should have 3+ years of SharePoint Development and/or Administrative experience, plus an active TS/SBI Clearance (TS/SCI Clearance is preferred). Position is in Arlington, Virginia.
