Software Engineers - Work in Chantilly for one of the Nation's leading R&D organizations!
Our client, one of the nation’s leading Research and Development organizations, currently has an opening for Software Engineer to work in Chantilly, Virginia and be part of an elite R&D team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, coding, testing, and integration of web applications, middleware solutions, and embedded systems. They will apply web application development skills to support government research and development sponsors. Candidate must have demonstrated experience in object-oriented software engineering using Java, J2EE, JSP, ASP, JDBC, Visual Basic, HTML, and XML. They must have experience is database design and implementation.
To qualify candidates should have 5+ years of experience with web application and database development. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Demonstration of creative problem solving is highly regarded. Experience with government-sponsored research and development a plus. Military Background a plus. A degree in Math, Science or Computer Science is preferred. Candidates must have an Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
