The Multimedia Interactive Developer will develop, deploy, and support content-driven, media-rich Web sites, Web applications, and multimedia applications. Ideal candidates will have both an analytical and creative skill-set. Interactive developers will be involved in the full lifecycle of development for project assets, including user interfaces, business logic, and supporting databases. Candidates should have qualifications: 3-5+ years experience Web production technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, cross-browser DOM)
Strong experience RIA (rich internet applications) development using Flash (with ActionScript 3), Flex, or Silverlight.
2-3+ years experience Web application development using ASP.NET (C#) and/or PHP.
1-2+ years experience with relational database development, including SQL Server or MySQL.
Strong experience integrating designer assets (e.g. PhotoShop files) into projects as per specification.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Dreamweaver, PhotoShop, and Fireworks.
BA / BS Degree in Media Arts, Computer Science or related area.
Ability to think conceptually
Excellent communication skillsAdditional consideration will be given to candidates also possessing:
Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and practices.
Experience with software design patterns & application architecture patterns.
Experience with CMS or LMS systems.
