The Multimedia Interactive Developer will develop, deploy, and support content-driven, media-rich Web sites, Web applications, and multimedia applications.  Ideal candidates will have both an analytical and creative skill-set.  Interactive developers will be involved in the full lifecycle of development for project assets, including user interfaces, business logic, and supporting databases. 

Candidates should have qualifications:

•     3-5+ years experience Web production technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, cross-browser DOM)
•     Strong experience RIA (rich internet applications) development using Flash (with ActionScript 3), Flex, or Silverlight.
•     2-3+ years experience Web application development using ASP.NET (C#) and/or PHP.
•     1-2+ years experience with relational database development, including SQL Server or MySQL. 
•     Strong experience integrating designer assets (e.g. PhotoShop files) into projects as per specification.
      Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Dreamweaver, PhotoShop, and Fireworks.
•     BA / BS Degree in Media Arts, Computer Science or related area.
•     Ability to think conceptually
•     Excellent communication skills

Additional consideration will be given to candidates also possessing:

•     Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and practices.
•     Experience with software design patterns & application architecture patterns.
      Experience with CMS or LMS systems.
•     Agency experience.

Position requires a Top Secret/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph and is located in the Columbia, Maryland area.
